Forums that are related to fantasy or science fiction whether the topic is humans, dragons, space travel or something similar. This is a very diverse board with forums that can range from medieval humans to futuristic cyborg werewolves.

These forums focus on more realistic rp with either human or anthro/furry characters. Example settings include high school, college, boarding school, hospital, small town, and city. Forums with fantasy or futuristic/sci fi elements (vampires, werewolves, aliens, ghosts, etc.) belong in the Fantasy/Sci Fi section.

These forums are all in some way linked to a fandom and are usually based around that fandom. Warrior Cats based forums, Attack on Titan, Pokemon and Homestuck forums are just a few examples.
